IMO, for a trim down bezel and newer chipset for more energy efficiency, come with 4G. isnt that any improve? for me, yes.

Please learn the lesson from Apple, if 2 years straight the product... morebruh what kind of drug are you taking.
Xiaomi doesn't force their customer to upgrade their current phone (Redmi 1S). They did this just because they want to update their product slightly better. More compact design, upgraded CPU and LTE with the price of its predecessor are a big plus.
Xiaomi did really great job on upgrading their popular budget device. My only complain is if only the RAM is slightly bumped higher (1.5 GB or 2GB).

There are lot of people in India who didn't get 1S due to limited number of phones. Those people will definitely buy 2S if it comes to India for same price as that of 1S. And finally, 4G is expected to cost less than 3G in India.

Dear Xiaomi Management,
Please learn the lesson from Apple, if 2 years straight the product remains the same, no body is going to buy it. People who like Xiaomi product has already bought the Redmi 1, this version is just CPU upgrade (I don't think this is even an upgrade) and add 4G connectivity, it is meaningless. People who can afford 4G plan would prefer to own something better.
If you ask me to choose between Meizu and Xiaomi this time, I would want Meizu immediately. Please have something more creative for us. Thanks.

26 grams lighter and thinner than redmi 1S. Cortex A53 is better in power consumption than cortex A7. Those who whine, go for redmi note by paying a few bucks extra.
