someone, 13 Aug 2009nokias creating n98 which has a 12 megapixel camera.it will be announced in December and relea... moreI'd be weary of that news. I've seen pics of n98 and they are totally scams and fakes. You might as well wait for that news to come from here.
[deleted post]"It's also funny that Nokia only came up with a 3.5 display touchscreen phone, proximity sensor and accelerometer after all these years :)"
Nokia had all this well before the Iphone, sorry but u need 2 learn history. N770 had a huge touch-screen (about 4 inches) in 2006 or something like that.
The current rumored N900 is Nokia's best to date, but I can SMELL that something even more powerful will be revealed @Nokia World '09.
Perhaps the rumored 12MP-phone, with the new OMAP36xx (1GHz). A good CPU is needed for processing high resolution pics (Pixon12 has about 800MHz), but since this will have a 50% larger lens (according to Carl Zeiss), it might need more processing power. We'll see.
Anonymous, 13 Aug 2009Just curious why the almighty REFUSED to offer any 3G touchscreen phone until AFTER the releas... moreS40 isn't Symbian OS, only S60 is (and Symbian Foundation OS will be as well).
nokias creating n98 which has a 12 megapixel camera.it will be announced in December and released in february.it could be the next n95
Anonymous, 13 Aug 2009i can't wait n see NOKIA phone using Intel processor and bundle with Microsoft Office ... morehehe, yeah! an intel processor would be great! problem is, maybe after 5 mins, the battery will be drained! haha! but its a good idea, they should find a solution for that. Maybe as the transformers! LOL!
hehe, nokia vs. Iphone, the war continues... Soooo off topic. I'm a Nokia fan but for equality, those bragging on whose best do it somewhere else. I think that if gsmarena puts up at topic of Nokia vs. Iphone, there will be 100++ millions who will comment. Haha! enough, off topic.
To main course:
A good move for nokia in teaming up with Microsoft. It's about time. You're scaring the a**es of iphone fans with this move. Hehe. Although they say that it's a team up only for some pimping of software, marketing, etc. well like a relationship, things could go the next level. Potentials could be untapped. Many powerful unexpected softwares, hardwares could be created and what a wonderful, astounding delights it would be for us all.
With the economic recession going on, maybe Bill gates would sell his bonds and buy some stocks of Nokia to boost up the phone manufacturer's ego once again. A partnership or a coup? whatever as long as it makes things better of the both (what a relationship!) (Nokia reported losses also layed off some folks, so there's a good corporate intercession to be made, Mr. Gates knows that, Mr. Jobs is watching although I know both have tricks up their sleeve)
Forecast? I think negotiations are on the way if not now, soon. Totally a corporate thing, just like politics. A smart move. Hands up to the both!
i can't wait n see
NOKIA phone using Intel processor and bundle with Microsoft Office
last 2~3 month, NOKIA cooperate with Intel
now they cooperate with microsoft office :D
dont worry iphone users; by the time this will happen; this feature will just be another app on iphone.hehe
She's successfully made me hate my iPhone. I'm getting the Pre for Christmas. Thanksgiving if I'm lucky
[deleted post]it's also funny that the iphone 3g-s camera is still weak.
[deleted post]nokia and microsoft will definitely turn the iphone into apple sauce.
long live nokia
wow, editing documents on your mobile.. that's great.. now nokia is taking advantage from the other.
ok, maybe i will try to love this brand.
Nokia with WM? maybe cool....!!
never use nokia...hate so with nokia, because the symbian is nokia.
be careful samsung... if u don't improve your phone hardware or firmware, u never be the first.
[deleted post]I think somebody is either dumb or didn't read carefully what David said. aplle profit revenue shouldnot combining all sales from computer, ipod, etc.. Only iphone. just like nokia or samsung or lg and the rest of phone industry. Weww...
KB, 12 Aug 2009No serious phone user or business person uses the iphone. Give it up already apple fans. Apps ... moreMaybe you should get with the times...
To quote from you:-
"No serious phone user or business person uses the iphone...
...MMS, Office client etc. make a good phone"
iPhone 3G and 3GS can both do MMS with OS 3.0.
QuickOffice and Docs2Go are just two of the document editors available for iPhone's.
Hopefully Nokia is big enough that Microsoft won't just chew them up, take what they want and then spit out the leftovers like they've done with many companies in the past.
Getting together with Microsoft can be an invitation to disaster.
as if u appletards barging into this comments section of a nokia-microsoft venture would change the mind of readers and convert them to use an iphone 3gs. LOL.
technology serves u, not the other way round. at least if youre some johnny come latey then have some respect to the established big players.
apple was spreading their fanboyism in the computer business before it came to the handphone field as well.
and i lold hard at the 'multitasking is crap' arguement. just like 'mms is outdated', 'who needs copy paste', and 'if need video, just buy a camcorder' bullsh1t of last year.
protip-dont get too emotionally attached to the company or to your stnking phone. just use it and stfu, let the sales ffigures speak for themselves.
