I still love Nokia 3120c, if only it sports a WiFi and GPS and larger heap for Java
If I could go back to a Nokia 3720 Classic (as in, if I could still find one) - I totally would.
I miss that handset. A toughphone with a flashlight..
Man, those were truly Nokia's glory years.
Awesome. A flashlight.
Probably sounds like sarcasm, but it's such a practical feature.
gilda, 05 Jan 2015Cheap android phones are so laggy and buggy that they are practically unuseable. At least this... moreThats only half true. It only happens when you installed a lot of apps that running as background but not if they don't or just few apps. I had back then 4yrs+ android phone 2.3 gingerbread left in my drawer in dust. a 256MB RAM and installed with FB, Tweeter, Instagram and Viber still had 100MB RAM. Installed a lot of games as long as they don't use background when off. No lags or stutter.
How do you think back 2010~2012 all 256MB phones are laggy that cost $200+ or has the new phones these recent years makes you think all phones back then are laggy?
ttthanh14, 05 Jan 2015Don't spam sh*t like that. Instead of telling lies, U should show us the EVIDENCE? Which Andro... moreHere is the evidence if you are looking for one before you start cursing!!! P1,499 is equivalent to $33. Local android phones are as cheap as dirt.
Cheaper phones of course limited capability. At least it install some of the essential chat/social media apps.
The only thing I can think you care so much for a little additional little standby is you plan to let your phone sitting duck everyday and if thats your plan, there are other models with the same talktime/stanby nokia phone that cost only $15~20. Half price!!!
The Series 30+ platform is unfortunately very basic and feature poor even compared to Series 40, which Microsoft has abandoned. Series 30+ has no third party apps, no OTA firmware updates and no updates whatsoever for phones without a micro-USB connector. It's a true feature phone in the classical sense: you get only the apps and features it has when you buy it, nothing more.
