MY HUMBLE REQUEST IS I WANT NEW DEVICE-HTC DESIRE 816 BECAUSE MORE THAN 20 DAYS OVER SO I DO NOT WANT REPAIRED MOBILE.
I had submitted my device HTC desire 816 on 17/12/2014 in TVS electronics ltd. Kamla nagar New Delhi for repairment (Mother board problem/no power/can not boot), more than 20 days over I didn't get any updates on my device/not repaired yet so request this company to send me new device. I am too much embarrased from this HTC service support centre. My device comes in warranty purchase date is 30/07/2014.

Tell me if it will bring that MediaTek Octacore SoC that's able to record slow-mo at 480fps.

HTC would insult its own self if they use MediaTek for the international Hima. MediaTek is good for low and mid range, not for high end.

Mr Tan, 06 Jan 2015Noone cares anymore. The processor performance has crossed a frontier where we can no longer ... moreI disagree with you. The specs do not matter to people who are buying midrange devices. This is a flagship we are talking about. In premium segment, specs matter the most. Mediatek SoC will not enthuse potential buyers for a premium device. If it is priced midrange (around $300 to $400), it would be fine. More than that, people will stay away from it only due to Mediatek SoC.

A similar thing is happening in the PC world as well.
Even the weaker processors are so incredibly capable.

I got a Flagship this time and honestly this os the last time I paid that premium. Having the best is good but it's not always the best for us.

                                  Noone cares anymore.
The processor performance has crossed a frontier where we can no longer tap the maximum from the chipset.
                                  Honestly, for a smartphone it won't make a difference having a S615 or a S810 (both 64-bit).
Benchmarking bragging rights ends within 2 minutes of your Antutu run.
I'd honestly have a mid-range chipset, which has been future-proofed (64-bit) and has a low TDP.
Save yourself the $200-$400 difference. The performance bump isn't worth it anymore.

I hate that things. I want no differences between same devices. A pro for Apple, identical devices worldwide.
I also hate the implication of network operators în smartphones OS and updates.

Only one problem whit this: there is no high-end MediaTek SoC. The 6795 is just a middle class SoC, the constrast between this and the Snapdragon 810 will be too big if this rumor will be true.
