Lol at all the people going backward in technology (from Android to iOS). They don't seem to realize that iOS is playing catch up with Android now :D
But I'm sure that this is about to change this year with so many flagship grade Android devices with a third of the new iPhone price tag being released this month alone. Zenfone 2, to name one (it's even a quarter or even a fifth of the new iPhone price - how crazy is that).

So ultimately, during those three months Android phones still outsold iphones by 3:1.

And Windows phone is almost dead.

How is that worse than waiting for 4.7" and 5.5" that have been around for years?

I dont get how it's possible. I dont get the lure of the iPone at all. It's a every mans phone these days.

However, let's hope more manufacteurs starts to do what apple and Sony are doing and releasing their flagship phones with two display sizes.
It's hard to put 5.3"+ devices in pockets, for most people. 2 hand handling people have gotten used to. But a lot of people have no place to carry their pones, since it wont fit in trouser pockets.

I mean is it that hard to accept?

By the way, you cant sell year after year with hype, the product need to be worth of that hype. Look samsung they sold with hype but clearly the device couldnt deliver and now people are chosing something else and samsung is failing miserably.

Google music app alone wipes the floor with what Apple have paying £7.99 per month to watch videos and stream music is major you really couldnt have been in the App store lately. Plus g-mail and lets not get started on maps are way ahead of what Apple have to offer. The boon is because Apple got wise and built an iphones that you no longer have to squint to look at yes there pretty but as a person that like the build quality of the iphone 5 the quality of build on the 6 is just cheap they are so light and thin that you need a case to make it feel that you are holding something of worth especially when you pay £615 for it. People just love believing the hype

Anonymous, 07 Jan 2015It's expected to swing a little with every new product release. A lot of people including me ... moreI am a hard-core android fan. But I don't think SD810 powered devices will sell comparable to Apple iphone 6 or 6+. All android devices with 810 (Samsung S6 and variants, Sony z4 and variants, HTC hima, LG G4 etc) put together will sell probably about 10% of iphone 6/6+. Premium segment is owned by apple and that is not going to change anytime soon. But android will gain marketshare due to low end/mid range devices.

AnonD-324821, 07 Jan 2015I don't think Apple even care about other countries with their insane prises I think itls more of a status thing

My brother won a Brand new Z10 and put decided to it boxed seal and 40% so at 60% rrp

A mother was keen to have it for her son who had broken.

Next thing she emailed and said he she wss getting an iPhone which even the old IPhone4S costs 3 times as much

So not so much specs based but knowing you have something expensive seems to be it.

"We know it's over priced etc but we're going to get it anyway"

I considered an iPhone anf the more and the more I researched the more I didn't understand it.

I guess I get I got over my phase early but some never do

As a two phone user having an iphone simply would not work

nemesh73, 07 Jan 2015xiaomi is a no name in most developed countries"most developed countries" lol

The most most developed countries right now are n the east! China, hung kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, UAE, Singapore etc..

Maybe your western propaganda TV doesn't tell you this... But those countries are the most developed right now and most ppl from those "developed countries" know about Xiaomi.
Soon companies like Xiaomi, Oppo, Meizu, Huawei will be the most wanted phones and the most sold.

Android is finding its place now, it will be more and more an OS for emerging market and budget devices and thats what we see from manufacturers as well, most devices are made to suit India and China, for me i didnt see even one desirable phone released in 2014.

ios is simple but has no obvious competition with android as android has gone too par.android will be leader in future as well.
