Awesome if true. QHD is as useless as the word itself. Full HD is more than enough for such small screens and also better for power efficiency.

But qHD is, indeed, overkill; you can not see the difference. I compared an LG G3 and LG G2 and couldn't see the difference in resolution. 720p is good on phones with a small diagonal display, like my Z3 Compact or the first gen Moto G.

As of now, to me, a 1080 panel on a 5.5 is more than enough to read watch video n chat
Depending on how the battery if affected, ill decide what I really want
I wish Samsung had brought a note with same hardware along with a 1080p for us to compare.....

so ... they improved the water resistant capabilities with more flaps on ports or ? lol ... when are they going to improve the software - the stock android version in sony xperia range looks boring ... not even flip to mute is added yet and the battery drains faster than htc or samsung with power saving capabilities on ...

I would always get the FHD over the QHD, any day. I'd rather have 4.7 @ 720p, though.

It would be nice if Sony could solve the issues they have with their cracking screens. People said the Z2 had this problem and now some are saying that the Z3 screens are cracking without being dropped or hit. Even XDA Developers acknowledged this. Go Sony!

Apperantly we going to see each month another Xperia Z, Sony following samsungs footsteps.

1080p is still overkill,both drain battery too much only little k... morefalse. qhd is the future standard and the difference is very noticeable. and it's very possible to have a qhd phone without sacrificing battery life the way samsung beautifully integrated the display into the note 4.

Not mentioning the fact that the thinner the bezel, the more fragile the device is going to be.
Sony Xperia devices actually perform pretty well in drop tests as a matter of fact.
