AnonD-324821, 07 Jan 2015iOS 8 on more than 60% Android 5.0 not to be seen anywhere while 4.4 on 40%. That says a lot. how about you compare all iOS device to only nexus device?(apple Vs googe) That is a bit more fairer comparison. I can guarantee you the adaptation rate of nexus device to the newer android version is higher compare to iOS.
Anonymous, 08 Jan 2015If you know an update will mess something up in your device, would you still take it?
If you ... moreMost people will update regardless of OS unless if:
1. They do not know about the update
2. The update is not available on their phones.
Point 1: Limitation of most iPhone users
Point 2: Limitation of most Android users.
If you know an update will mess something up in your device, would you still take it?
If you DON'T know whether an update will mess something up in your device, would you still take it?
If you're absolutely sure that an update will run on your device without any issues at all, would you take it?
Most iOS users will probably answer all three questions with "yes," and so will over half of Android users. Majority of what's left will answer "yes" to the second and third questions. And the smallest fraction will only answer "yes" to the third.
When iPhone is using Cortex-A15s while others is running Cortex-A9s
Now, iPhone is still the one with 64bit over the board.
This proves iPhone does not lag as much as Androids, because their hardware is superior. Its can even run at slower speeds and lower cores without breaking the battery.
iOS is the most advance OS ever. User update means they have access to the great new features available to the new API. Haters think iOS is limited, but i can tell its their brains that is limited.
iOS is as good as the apps you install. Anything you need can be found in App store. Unless you are into piracy, which is against the LAW, stick with Android which have no updates and tons of malware.
Don't like IOS 8 that much because it mess my calendar location big time. Need to manual change every time creating a calendar...and the calendar problem on IOS 7 still there. I think IOS 6 is better and stable.
Not much of change that I've seen on IOS 8 compare to IOS 7, for average user like me, there's no WOW factor for me to upgrade at all...better stays with IOS 7 instead...haha
i am Using iPhone 5S...
2Month Before Updated iOS 7 to iOS 8.0.1 After Updated I Have So many Problems.. MObile Hanging then Heating i Contact to Service Center they will Inform that's iOS Problem...
I am Not Satisfied With iOS 8..........
29% is still rocking on iPhone 4
Primark, 08 Jan 2015Frankly speaking, this so called update of yours is just there to make IPhone owners feel good... moreYou clearly dont know what you talking about..... I go a few phones now and one of them is 4 years old iPhone running iOS 8 and i dont recall experiencing any lagging issues! But hey! Some Android users will always try to find something to troll which in most cases is untrue!

Adding more features means more power is needed, no matter how optimized your OS is.

That says a lot. You know that comparing iOS wich is for a few devices, to Android wich is for hundreds of devices is kinda stupid?
So don't do it.
It's a pity that google still can't deal with Android fragmentation. Apple is better here (sadly).
