Passport gonna my next Blackberry device...can't wait to buy it..
Should move the logo of Blackberry to the bottom below the keyboard, making the screen higher upwards. Should introduce to full qwerty keyboard back to the Passport. It will be the king of smartphones.
ShADstONed, 08 Jan 2015If you're Blackberry you'll bend over backwards to make some sales right now...Yup I have to agree they need the carrier support and right now they need to do what they need to do to make that happen and increase market share especially in the US

No no no no. They did it the wrong way round.
The square passport design is awesome. They should have Passport-ised the Classic instead.
What's wrong with the designers there.
Much prefer the square passport.
Doesn't look good with rounded corners but it's more comfortable now I guess.
A rather attractive phone with a platform that could revive the brand's more casual appeal. Side loading Android Apps is a welcome step in the right direction, good job. :)

Very frustrating.

I'm not sure yet whether I find the rounded corners better or not. But the fact that a carrier can request a design adjustment is something I really don't like.
Why cant these mobiles be offered in Australia at the same price (net of exchange rate). We are constantly being legged over by by mobile phone markets and carriers in Australia with their massive mark ups and poor service. Mobiles in Australia on carrier deals work out 2-3 times more expensive than USA carrier deals on mid to top mobiles. Blackberry disappeared of the shelves here years ago and it is mainly an Apple dominated market where the deal is $80-90/month for iphone 6, Note 4 about $90/ month. So where is the passport, let alone the Z30, or classic. Surely Blackberry can be competitive in Australia.
