People are just telling you, Samsung is not making as much as before.
Note 4 or edge or whateva, you can say its spen, octa core quad core lame care, eye checking feature. No one cares.. its subjective to who like what features on which phone they pick.
Fact is Note 4 have little impact compared to iPhone 6 plus to the general public. And for cheaper alternatives, people rather go for Xiaomi, because Xiaomi can do the same with much much less.

Selling like hotcakes has nothing to do with relative quality. Justin Bieber sells a lot more albums than many much better artists. Jackass:Bad Grandpa sold twice as many tickets as 12 Years a Slave, but which one won an Academy Award for best picture.
If you believe that number of sales means so much, that means that Android must be 4X better than iOS.

So their profit drop in that sector.
Hate it or like it, Apple is controlling their profits now.
Their trying to do it alone with android phones failed, due to high end preimum like iPhones and low end affordable like Xiaomi.
