Waiting for the day Vodafone UK goes to hell.
Been in UK for 1 week and have to say after searching 2-3 carriers in roaming i found EE having the best 4G coverage.
EE reception for me has been awful. I actually shifted from Giffgaff to EE. And I thought no one could have poorer reception and outages then Giffgaff, but actually my EE reception is worse!!
EE is just providing rumors that ithas the strongest network in UK but it has the worst service in THe UK.They charge you what you have not used Like Data and all . They Run there services from India and say they are based in UK . Big liars And they Play with the emotions when you upgrade with them . Everything Everywheere But they are now where when you need there help . They say to call 150 for help free But they charge you when you connect to them . And the chat service is Walking on fire Grammer like 2 nd year in the class Operated from India . They Suck ;(
ollyb1, 09 Jan 2015I was going to join ee today then I read thier terms on thier price plan that states you will ... moreI used to work with them and was always pissed off at this term. Very #annoying
I dont like the fact that they are aiming to cover 98% of the 'population'. While most of the population do live in the larger towns and cities, there still a large number of people who dont live in towns and cities. Its all well and good having these larger towns and cities covered by LTE but what everywhere else?
Basically, what im saying is: EE (and other UK networks) need LTE coverage everywhere between the large towns and cities, including the entire motorway and railway network and the villages, hamlets and farms.
Why should people have to wait longer for 4G just cos they dont live in a town or city?
EE has the worst coverage for a mobile network, I'm so glad that my contract is up with them
ollyb1, 09 Jan 2015I was going to join ee today then I read thier terms on thier price plan that states you will ... morethey all do except Vodafone and so do the likes of sky and vigin media its like pennys stop moaning about it and get over it
So many idiots ..in EU then, when using most expensive mobile OP!
Am on 3UK and have unlimited 4G internet just for £12,90...
I was going to join ee today then I read thier terms on thier price plan that states you will have a price increase every year in line with the retail price index that changed my mind straight away
GSMarena.. the UK only has 69 cities in total! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_in_the_United_Kingdom
By the way, EE's network coverage and speed is very good. But if you ever have any problems, customer services are the worst I have ever seen, and roaming is very expensive.
AnonD-222882, 09 Jan 2015didn't knew there are 500+ cities in UK.That might be a far looser definition than the official "City" status, since Wikipedia informs me that there are less than a hundred settlements granted City status in the UK.
That or GSMArena mistyped.
didn't knew there are 500+ cities in UK.
you only ever hear the negative comments never the positive
Steve, 09 Jan 2015If you're an EE customer, now would probably be the time to switch as from here the service wi... morei agree...although apparently i've been burning through my data faster for some reason (and 4gig normally is fine for me) and i've had signal outages too - some lasting for a whole day...not very good if you ask me
If you're an EE customer, now would probably be the time to switch as from here the service will only deteriorate. I was with them for years, and could never get a reliable 3G signal in London.
