Maikel - Netherlands, 10 Jan 2015Android KitKat 4.4.4. is stable you can't say this yet for Android 5.0 Lollipop. I want 4.4.4.... moreSome are having problems with 5.0/5.0.1 but others like me are using it with no problems. Can also get screen record apps on lollipop with no need for root or sdk commands.

Anonym, 10 Jan 2015My experience has always been the polar opposite of that, but then again I don't upgrade stock... moreIt may function well but I have a friend who also has a rooted arc S. The 512mb ram and limited internal storage are the problem! Still got my old live Walkman - Sony Ericsson produced some awesome phones but destroyed them all with ics updates.

I am surprised that Sony has STILL not released Lollipop for its Z lineup, months after Google released it and other manufacturers upgraded their phones with it.

psychotic1988, 09 Jan 2015kitkat 4.4.4 has lots of issues..i updated my m2 and im experiencing lots of prob!!!philippinesActually KitKat (4.4.4) itself is the most stable Android version one could get right now.

If you have troubles with it then it's either the Sony additions to their own ROM that is causing the problem or you did something wrong with the update (such as restoring data from backups taken in previous versions and/or not performing a factory reset).
