Maybe they produce good devices, but their policy and behavior makes them absolutely unthinkable buy. I won't support such behavior.

Do they buy the patents? Mostly, Yes. Technology? Some, yes. Do they make the products that the patent cover? Mostly, no. Are they willing to slow innovation to enforce their patents? Hell yes. Do they sue companies that cant defend themselves? YES. Do they take aggressive legal actions in hopes of preventing competition from entering the market? Yes. Do they use older patents that are nearly outdated in order to pursue patent infringement? Yes yes.
And let's not forget about the infamous Rockstar.
Nuff said. Whatever you say next is irrelevant on my part.

And for whatever things they use from others they are paying the royalties..
You think Samsung is suing nVidia because they invented anything?
Problem with fanboys like you is that you see only Apple suing while all the other leading manufacturers including Samsung, Sony, Motorola, Nokia have been suing each other around since ages..

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2015Can you name one thing that Apple INVENTED?They still hold the IP for their version of implementation.. Whoever might have invented the techonolgy itself.. AND they manufacture devices using that implementation..
So that makes them defending their profits not patent trolls..
If they were NOT making the iphone and their patents were bought from some other company and they sued samsung.. That would make them a patent troll..

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2015Can you name one thing that Apple INVENTED?Well they did implement the first massively successful multitouch phone. it may not have actually been the first phone with a multitouch screen, however, it is safe to say that it's paved the way for most of the phones we see today in terms of functionality.
