Based on the leaks so far Xiaomi is debuting two phones. One flagship with more focus on it then the other release. I am guessing with that price the flagship is Xiaomi Note with 5.7 inch QHD screen. What commands the high price must be the inclusion of Snapdragon 810. A possible 3G of ram and a generous size battery should make it a top line phone. The second phone could be Redmi Note 2 with Snapdragon 801 or 615 remaining at 5.5 inch screen with 2G ram at lower price point. Lets go find out in 1 1/2 hours!

Talk about knock off. Quite sure there are other names they could have used but they settled on 'Note'. I guess they wanted to gain from the Galaxy Note's popularity. No shame in their game i suppose.

Immediate fail on price. The only reason for buying a Xiaomi is that they're such great value propositions. At the point they approach other flagship prices, I'm no longer interested.

For $600, I would go for better brand
Everybody is hoping to see an affordable note (like the redmi note), unless the 5.7 comes with SD810, then it is another story

The main selling point for Xiaomi devices is it's price/specification ratio. Not sure if it will sell with regular pricing.
I for one not going to buy it if it really cost that much, unless it offer a real Note taking capability aka stylus.

Why snapdraon 801? I was hoping to see snapdragon 810 on new Mi5 and this phone.. But other specs are awesome. Keep up good work Xiaomi
