It's a prototype, people. Also these modules look fantastic, an overall very awesome concept I hope becomes mainstream by the end of this year.

The solution to solve the ugliness of this is to use a thin case or shell to hide the innards. I hope on the next iteration, they make the components a lot smaller and make a removable shell/case to hide everything. Now it is up to the oem companies to make a better chassis and shell.
