AnonD-306789, 15 Jan 2015Better camera, much better display, ultra power saving mode, i like touckwiz ( ui is good even... moreBro! I am from Chennai. This phone is top-class.Snapdragon 810 is the best Qualcomm chipset. The design is so beautiful.Note 4 in India is roughly sold @ 50-60k and this is $530 which is around 30-35k.
Note 4 is awesome but Xiaomi is a globally popular and ROM builds are available so you can easily get Touchwiz Note 4 one.

I care about this about as much as I cared about the iphone 6's, that is, not at all.

Will 3000mAh be long enough for 6-core device ? How long will this last in browsing ? m using the 1850mAh but it last 3h in browsing.I-age need sth for the I-age. The price is sure to be lower than 500$ otherwise no one would get a hand on this young brand...

The battery life is about the same as the z3 has. i dont talk about some syntetic benchmarks or internet reviews but about that i get the exact same 4-6 hour of display time on at a day on a single charge that you get with the mi4. i never had a galaxy s5 in my personal use but when i check my friends display time on time the galaxyy s5 is worse than the z3 and the mi4.
about the water and the sensors, water proof i for sure an advantage but normaly you smash your phone at the ground and not into the toilet so its nice to have but i could say the same about the infrared blaster the sony does not have.
Comparing to the htc one there are nearly no disadvantages...
In terms of display i would say its:
s5 if you like amoled screens > mi4=z3=one

Kamera (for photos), so i would say the overall performance of the cameraS, back and front facing camera is the best at the mi4.
it has some problems in low light conditions but so has the s5.
                    so mi4>s5>z3>one

Video recording is a samsung advantage
                    s5>z3>one>mi4

                    speakers
                    one>z3>mi4>s5

battery.. i would say its the same between z3 and mi4 but since my z3 is a bit aged and the battery life is about the same i would say i could give the win to the z3

                    z3>mi4>s5>>one

performance... i would say the nexus 5 beats all of them in terms of subjective performance... im not a fan of benchmarks i am a fan of counting lags... subjective performance for me is like this

                    one=mi4>z3>s5

                    build quality:

                    htc one > mi4 > z3 > s5

.. so what is missing... the one and mi4 laks of the water proof standart... one and z3 dous not have a infrared booster.. s5 has the not perfect working fingerprint sensor... and software is not that big difference since all of them have some preferences but in the end they run the same apps...

you cannot say a galaxy s5 is better than a mi4, both phones have their advantages and their disatvantages so its up to yout personal preferences. Im not a xiaomi fan, im just impressed by the mi4 and FOR ME it is overall better than the samsung, the htc and the sony flagship. that does not mean that they dont have advantages over the mi4, they have but so has the mi4 about them.

the mi note pro will again play in the same league. its not any chinese phone that has a good soc with a cheap price tag but i missing some features and has a bad quality, xiaomi is at the same level than samsung, htc and sony and maybe i will get the mi5 for me since i dont like big phones and dont want to have a worse battery life that the mo note will have.

A big screen without a pen?just like the iPhone 6+ . The Note 4 gives added value they they don't have.

Xiaomi is popular because its cheap + quality. Now they increase the price, while the specs for camera didn't even improve.
GoodLuck to that. Other brands might come better just wait for their CES announcement.

I like these upcoming market models i thinknits good for business. By driving prices down or significant upgrades to the more established companies....this device does lack a few little things but on the whole is a very stacked device.....this for sure will make the big boys stand up and take note simply on the cost alone......
