lpddr4 sounds fast... I mean.. even in pc ddr3s are common.. and about the pricings that were argued below.. let me say one thing.. 1 year ago I bought ipad air for rs 32000 in eBay.. now the price hovers around 29000.. so it's still a premium tab, and probably will stay in the next 1-2years,, nd continously get support till another 4 years, as Apple supports for 5 years(eg look at iphone 4s) now my big brother bought galaxy. tab note 2013 one, for rs 42000,, now the price hovers around 22000.. now that really hurts... specially the hardware seems really slow now,,nd till now latest 4.4.4 isn't available,,, andro L is far dream.. thats why, price, hardware, software doesn't matter if you can't rely on the company's support after just 2 year of usage

every company puts in features that are really useless to people. apple does, samsung does, htc, lg, etc. im using a galaxy s2 and it does everything an s5 does. an iphone 5 does the same things as an iphone 6. they just add components that no one really knows about, and because you see that they put more crap in their handsets you think it is a much better phone.

iPhone is not popular in europe like in usa, here in EU everybody want Samsung S5 or Sony Z2, Z3... for less money

Launch price of all iphone line from the ... moreactually your wrong, apple does or has increased the prices of the iphone, not every model but yes they have increased the base price from for the original @ £399 to the current £539 and highest was i think £550, as for android increasing their prices i can see why,the competition is fierce because android owners WANT more from their devices, they often have the latest processors, almost always have the latest camera modules, always have the latest connectivity options and various other features which naturally drive prices UP, but the difference between the original Galaxy S @ £399, and the s5 £569 is comparable to the iphone prices really, and also because the companies cant drive the parts down as cheap as apple can they have to make the money back somewhere, but that is changing because of the cheap chinese market, androids are starting to become cheaper :-) which is good news for everyone non apple related.

Iphone already smooth with just 1 gig ram.
Samesung Galagxy still lag with 2 gig ram.

They probably didn't add 2GB of LPDDR3 because it didn't fit the power consumption they wanted.
