AnonD-279720, 16 Jan 2015This thing barely lasted me a day on FHD after CM did their magic on firmware updates, let QHD... moreI hope they keep the FHD and 5.5 screen. I'd like processor + gpu upgrade and a kickass new and well developed camera.
Higher screen resolution will only demand more power for backlighting and higher cpu+gpu usage ("the QHD displays in the G3 and Note 4 burden their GPUs with more pixels").
My hopes for OPT:
Upgraded CPU and GPU (Nvidia Tegra?).
Improved camera (optical image stabilisation, better in low-light and more control).
Stereo speakers (front facing or top+bottom).
Anti fingerprint coating.
Better and sturdier screen that dont break from one crack.
Smaller bezels (top+bottom).
Bigger battery (if design allows it).
Fingerprint scanner (if design allows it).
Voice commands with screen off ("Hey Snapdragon" or "Ok Google").
Water resistant (ex. take pictures under water).
LTE band 20 (800 MHz) support.
Removable battery.
SD Slot.

I want to say that i'm kinda dissapointed with the price. they should leave the price as it is with the oneplus one . 350 is budget but 435 is above budget. they will lose some costumers.

You found the one that actually *had* a reason to upgrade it's resolution and (you) derided it, congrats! ... Generally you're right, QHD is useless, in your phone's case you're not...

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2015The distance you look at a monitor is greater than that at which you would use your smartphone.I have QHD on a 5.7" phone and I'm telling you now, it's useless. I would much rather have had Full HD and even better battery life.

QHD is completely useless on a 5.5" phone!! think about your PC, most of us use Full HD resolution on our desktop PC and even less on notebooks, why does ANYBODY would need QHD on a phone?! gaming suffers, battery suffers, the overall experience suffers, it is not a plus, its a minus. Look at the Z3 compact, 720 x 1280 and its a great phone.
