I am sure when the time comes and Xiaomi is ready to expand into EU, they will have a handset that will be compatible with the European networks.

                those bands are just fot china ! so bye AGAIN Xiaomiii u will FAIL by your OWN mistakes !!!

                To say something bout LTE CAT 9 .. all this is just useless
                WHAT is this for ?? wen NOT using PROPERLY CAT4 jesus christ..
                I have LTE CAT 6 on my Mate7 .. and where ? where I can use it ? NOWHERE !!

                    Yes no plan to bring Mi4 to Malaysia.

                    But Barra says that the company will channel its efforts into the Mi Note instead, which supports all FDD-LTE bands globally.

                    The Mi Note will be available in Malaysia and other South East Asian markets in the second quarter of this year.

                      check and test closely. sometimes such china version phone would allow international 4g- only if you are at roaming mode

                        Looks like Xiaomi will be my next smartphone. Got a Lenovo right now. Been waiting for this one. Wouldn't touch a Samsung, Apple, Sony, Nexus or HTC with a 10-foot pole. They cut your throat.
