5.3 is perfect size for high end smartphone with bazel and good style,after that it,s look like more phablet then mobile,note 4 design suit his size beacuse it,s phablate.and again lg i am waiting for your giant flagship please improve 2k display like samung did with note 4

Why G4 reduced the size to 5.3",quite a big disappointment,LG should at least maintenance the size at 5.5".
I dare to challenge the sales of G4 wouldn't be as good as G3,i m the very first one already out of interest.
LG must also consider today smartphones are not just meant for conversations only,it must go well with entertainments too,i don't think i like to choose a 5.3" screen to watch videos,browsing web,it's not impressive enough.

The rumour LG G4 with snapdragon 810 chip n 4GB ram together with stylus are welcome indeed. To reduce it to 5.3" would be disaster. Flex 2 n G4 is all together different phone. Peoples still prefer the flat type. Innovation is about going forward, not backward.

Also 1440p doesn't look any better than 1080p in such small screens they both look the same, only 1440p is eviler.
The only good thing for 1440p is VR movies. But nobody except samsung does VR. So -yeah- it's a gimmick for everyone else.

G Pen od stylus of some sort in bullshit. Nobody uses this in real life. Besides that G4 will be a monster. Only bad thing is plastic used. Make a metal or glass, or maybe combination of both like on best designed phone ever - iPhone 4

I'm glad most manufacturers seem to finally be deciding there's a limit to how big a screen can be in a flagship smartphone, without becoming a phablet.
Hopefully Google will learn this lesson with the next Nexus phone and provide something closer to a 5" screen.

None of this matters as the G4 isn't due for release until Q2/Q3 2015 (~June/July). At 5.3 inches, the device will remain in smartphone territory.
With a powerhouse like the 5.2 inch Galaxy S6 already matching/exceeding the G4 in every category, as well as hitting store shelves much sooner (February/March 2015), consumers will purchase it. The G4 will be in trouble.
Also, with the Galaxy Note 5 likely reaching consumers as early as August 2015 this year, only a month or so after the G4, those who didn't pick up the S6 will be in the market for a true phablet. LG won't be able to sustain.

Whish they stay on the 5.5 inch screen..my g3 is perfect..was hoping for a 20mp camera.even though the 16mp is great but the 20mp would have been good for marketing and to be more future proof.
