seems odd number versions are experimental
even number versions are true users phone, built base on users opinions
s4 are nice. s6 seems very promising

They are just reserving the feature for Galaxy Note 5.. Galaxy Note 5 will be THE ultimate phone. After all it is too much a hassle to design the S6 with waterproofing and then omit it from the S6 Edge.. I have to say that is a good strategy.

Good step Samsung. The reason why S5 (or one of the reasons) sold so bad was because IP made it look ugly, made it thicker and with bigger bezel.
And this is what nobody wants and this is why Sony phones and S5 sell so bad.
If Samsung would sell two versions of the S6 - one with IP 78 and the look of S5 and one without IP 78 but with the look of A7 or Alpha - I bet more than 80% would grab the one without IP 78

whats matter in todays phones simply :) :
-quality/durability
(cold,water,falls,throws)
-top spec for media content
(camera,display,processor,grafics,stamina,memory)
-special features
(hw(pen,manual settings in camera,sensors...),
softwaretweaks(security,ocr,
AI,build-in offline navi..),support)
-simplicity (for example how fast u can take
photos,panoramas,spheres,hdr and their resolution -
is difference 60Mp and 15/5Mp)

now the samsung is soon goin to become apple but a rotten one... atleast apple has a premium segment but sammy is getting worse n worst is the S6... samsung went oblivion, what they thinking nobody would ever understand... making millions of different models in a yaer and unable to make a decent flagship equipped with good specifications n features while using all knocked up gimmicky software tricks... soon they going to end with billions of losses n their dark phase has already begun...

And yes, Xiaomi phones are mostly Low quality (Specs are not everything). Bad battery (And non-removable), extremely bad audio, no sd slots. Cpu power is not everything

While I agree on that replac. bat. is an advantage, I do not agree on your claim that non-replac. bat. is scam. You consider it is as essential for flagship, for others, unibody premium feel is more important. This depends on person.
Funny to refer Xiaomi as crappy. Xiaomi has top tier specs in some of their phones. Yes, they are not innovative and steal everything from everyone but they are not an unnamed brand.
