Anonymous, 21 Jan 2015The S6 will be a flop without the S810. Period. Sammy's Crapxynos chips are useless. Someone give this man an 810!

Snapdragon are newcomers to octa core. In an LG flex2 hands on test the tester said the device was constantly thermal throttling itself. Samsung has a reputation to keep with its flagships and can't afford to take the risk if a chipset is not reliable yet. No point in using nvidia as their chipsets while being excellent are power hogs and better suited to tablets that have bigger battery than phones.

I didn't bought Note 4 because it had Snapdragon chipset inside...previously every Note had Exynos chipset inside...but this time in my country(India) , they bought Snapdragon version...!
I hope Note 5 will have Exynos in India...!

Note 4 exynos version benchmark beat snapdragon version benchmark. Even Note 4 exynos version benchmark beat other brand flagship benchmark easily.
And we all know with heavy gaming snapdragon become very hot than exynos.

Some people tell qcom better than Equinox, but guys with so much processing power in these flagships and with most of us not even using 30% of processing , it doesnt matter if its snapdragon or equinox, only thing is we need longer battery life , good gps locking , good front speakers and 720p + resolution on a 5 inch display

I think when US customers gets to know that its similar performance as compared to snapdragon chipsets , Samsung can capture the huge market without losing on profits

They can even start selling their chipsets to other companies like sony and xiomi etc .

I brought my Galaxy S in 2011, recently the earpiece stopped working , it was brought from Korea which was using Hummingbird chipset from Samsung , their chipsets are not that bad and moreover in markets outside of US they use Equinox rather than snapdragon

dont care really, im satisfied with current snapdragon 801 SOC performance, but what i need from modern chipset is, lower power consumption, that is about all of it.

There's no question about that. The new chip will be full 64 bit and will have 4 GB LPDDR4 ram with dual 64 bit memory controller. Also it would be 14 nm with upgraded GPU.

This new exynos 7420 will be much better than the 5433 in note 4.
