Can't comment on the front-facing camera' appearance, but the "fingerprint scanner" looks like a Galaxy home button and the main rear camera module looks like the Nexus 5's. Photoshop = likely.

the button is misaligned to the phones horizontal plane.

I am lost for words...WHY do we still see logo bars on both rumored devices and now a home button or it is a fingerprint scanner??? Looks like I might go another year without an HTC flagship device....which will be very sad. This little things just keep getting in the way. Why can't HTC just rectify all the little things that were critized on last years device. Do what LG did, which ended up making the G3 an amazing improvement from their previous flagship.
For now I will just wait and see what the real M9 and M9+ turn out to be. But per these leaked images, I am on the fence.

That is SO hideous, it makes it is obvious, that it's fake! NO WAY a classy company like HTC will produce this kind of garbage. It's just a photoshop raped M8.

The physical home button is a fake and taken from a Samsung phone (like the Galaxy S5) and photoshopped on. Come on GSMarena, you should look at these photos in a bit more detail - you can actually see that the home button is not parallel to the bottom screen edge which guarantees this to be a fake image.

HTC has better stile than that.

Plus, I hope it's not a slider like the Samsung FPS, which I hated. The iPhone style FPS is both more user friendly and attractive.
