moto-g lolipop updates make...calling certainly difficult as whenever i want to call and i go for sim selection than...the touch of moto doesn't work for it..even it is getting bad than worst...

After updating to lollipop 5.0.2 on moto g 1st generation , operating system is using too much battery.

lakshya, 21 Feb 2015I m unable to set ringtone in my moto g2..its not working..I missed a lot of calls ...resolve ... moreDude thsi is not an issue .... Even nexus 6 didnt have this feature. You have to copy any song of ur choice in /ringtone fokder of internal(phone) memory using some third party file browser app. Other companies might have somekind of bloat to help the user but not Nexus or moto phones ..

That black screen with navigation button screeen is when control is comig to home s reen.if yes ..taht is something i guess u have to live with as low Ram crestes thsi problem and i faced it with kitkat also
Try installing clean master whcih will keep good RAM always handy. That can help you

WhileMaking call, it takes more than 3-5 seconds ti start diallingafter touching the contact name. Its very annoying. Primary purpose of mobile is to make calls. You do your android magics then. First fix this issue.

I m unable to set ringtone in my moto g2..its not working..I missed a lot of calls ...resolve this issue as early..otherwise.Motorola will by no longer gud..hate Motorola..now I m thinking that why should I spend my money on this useless brand..solve if u have something in ur hands ....cheaters,raskals

My Moto G phone has started to hanged and I can't use it at all. There are other issues with the software as well like after some time, the screen turns to black with just back button and there is nothing we can do.
Kindly advise where to report this, and how to solve this issue.

Please do not upgrade to lollypop. There are many issues to be fixed, such as 'it takes to much time to make call', my screen goes dark, selection of auto brightness is not easy. Etc..

Lollypop is bad, really bad. I have a moto g (2013 model) sometimes I cant even call properly after installing this. The whole phone has become way slow, it restarts automatically sometimes, cannot take any load. Worst affected is WhatsApp. Its really frustrating for me as it was working perfectly fine with KitKat.

There is one brazallian version of stock rom of KK, on which u can revert but steps are specific. Dont want to create panic but ur phone can become brick if not done properly so just be careful :)

Its a bit on slower side to open certain apps..for me its whatsapp. For my brother its calling app. Thats frustating to wait for few seconds just to actually use that app. Thats something for now we have to live with..
If u happen to use that app very frequently than this wait can be on lower side but by how much ...thats just plain luck :D
