Hey guys, I too faced the same problem with ringtone... U can solve it by using ES file explorer. Install it first, and then copy the tone which u like to any folder in the internal memory of your device. Then go to settings and while choosing the ringtone use ES file explorer and specify the folder and file which you copied...

Updated to 5.02 on a Moto-g (1st Gen). Seems to be working fine with two minor issues.
1. Unable to detect Wireless-N router used previously.
2. Sluggish dialer.
3. No longer the option to switch the phone into silent/vibration mode using the power button.

after updating my moto g 1st gen to lollipop i am also facing the problem,IF somebody's are calling me my phone display is active for 15 to 20 second then after that it get off and the phone ring, and i am also not able to see the pulse notification and ambient lights in all mode it is only working when the mob is used to be in ringer mode.

AnonD-357888, 31 Jan 2015Go for it. Make sure of following the procedures which I've mentioned in other post.I have upgraded to android 5.0.2, after that I did factory reset. Bit now I'm not able to download files from play store as well as from my chrome browser. Data connectivity is working fine.

I have updated lollipop in my moto g2. My big issue is lollipop is not recognizing sd card. The sd card settings are disabled. How to rectify it? Any idea? Kitkat was better ..

if u r not able to set ringtone in moto g2's android 5.0.2update, here's the solution - download "ES EXPLORER" then select(copy/cut) the song for ur (custom)ringtone, paste the song in "ringtone" folder then settings->sound¬ifications->phone ringtone->select ur song from the media storage...voila!!ur custom ringtone has been set...! :-)
