I have just updated my moto g 1st gen to lollipop. But now its a nightmare. The brightness turned down will completely turn off the backlight. The notification and ringtone doesn't work. The default launcher still uses KitKat style. Some times the whole screen except for the notification bar and the bottom bar goes black and I have to restart again. I contacted motorola and they said they have not heard of the brightness issue before. The told me to try doing a wipe cache through recovery mode but the instructions to reach recovery mode in lollipop motorola's site isn't how it was. THey said there would a arrow with start on it ,nope there wasn't. and they said power to select. , nope it wasn't. The kitkat procedures seemed correct as i reached android in distress using that method. try one to pass android in distress. FAIL. try two. FAIL. and i at least tried it 15 times still nope. What is going on???

itss very bad.... plz do somthing for wify..... and there should b a degrade option... that if we dont like the updated version then we can degrade it to previous1 ..... :( do something for the wify

I've been biggest fan of moto g and g2. Performance was so good. But after upgrade to lollipop, my moto g2 is painfully slow frequently. Please suggest if there is any way to make my phone performance back to normal or is it like I need to wait for another update in lollipop?

AnonD-357936, 30 Jan 2015I guys i Got notification for lollipop update , shall i install or not , awaiting for your reply I suggest not to update to lollipop unless new update to lollipop comes with fix for lagging. After lollipop, moto g2 is painfully slow frequently.

Worst update for the moto g 1st gen,
The perfomance level decreased. The status bar is biggest headache,
Brightness toggle ,invert colour toggleare so bad
