All those who have not received update yet... Make sure that you have downloaded Motorola App Service... Which is available on play store... And if u have downloaded then try rebooting your phone.. And check system updates manually... Otherwise wait for 1 day or two... As update is coming in phases of serial no...

I didn't get lollipop update notification on my moto g 2nd generation in Aurangabad, Maharashtra

Installed lolipop . Was pretty quick. Errors noticed since:
1. 2 photo icons
2. the phone icon just hangs and doesnt show the incoming or active call
3. There is a stop sign on the notification bar above- no idea what it is indicating.
4. Is there any colour option except white on the app panel?

Finally got 5.0.2

After getting the update downloaded it took half an hour for update to flash and start my phone completly may be bcz i have 155 apps in total
As soon as the update got installed i was facing ringtone issue i was not able to change my ringtones which were in my sdcard _ sounds _ ringtone folders no motorola or xda guys could help me with the answer i tried reseting my phone duhh!!! it was still the same then i tried moving he sonds folder to my internal memory that fixed it huh!!!
I hate the sdcard permission crab google has came up with. The stupid internet says that the sdcard permission has been fixed with lolipop but dont trust it. I use X-plore file manager since i was a symbian user and i tell you its the best file manager in the whole google play. And when i am trying to remove some files it is giving me "some files can not be deleted msg" which clearly shows that it has not got permission to do that task yes i am using the latest version.
The phone is taking 4-5 sec more to boot completely
The recent panel needs to be slided in order to make the recent apps go away there is no cross mark in the recent apps until you hold it duhh!!!
The battery meter is still not visible and i hate motorola for this
The battery percentage on lock screen has gone in the bottom and it is very uncomfortable for normal users to check
The power saving mode lags the camera so bad that u can hardly take any picture
Once you turn off the power saving mode it creates problem in play store background services for some time
The incoming call ui has changed in to a notification kind of panel which is questionable as it looks to small and if a person has a poor eyeside it can create a problem AND THERE IS NO WAY TO CHANGE IT
Luckily there is no heating issue with the phone it is same as when it was running 4.4.4. I need to check the battery life i am sure this would drain more battery as the ui is quite choppy

In my phone moto g(1st gen) it's showing SYSTEM SOFTWARE IS UP TO DATE !! What to do now ? My present version is 4.4.4 !! Help me out guys to update for 5.0

I got the update yesterday. :):)
Its awesome. I like its interface look soooo good. I m soo happy dhinka chikka... :P.
The update is arround 356 mb.
It is 5.0.2 not 5.0 only.

Initially after the update the 'h' sign of mobile network was there when the mobile network was on. But later on it vanished and is not appearing even the mobe data is on. Any idea guys?

Hey guy, after updating it to the lollipop, Is USB otg is supported
I'm having moto g 2nd Gen 2014 but I need to know that after updating it to Lollipop the USB on the go (otg) and host is still supported on lollipop or not as this the one of the most important feature for many of us.

hi i just update the new upgrade in just 20-25 minutes thanks to my 3g data.......
the whole upgrade is awsm 1 evry thing is so smooth that it attracts 1 to touch d phn... :-) but since i have got d update the internet connection is not working properly. i m exprncg a long lag b/w the strting of cnnection and it to be getng enabled.... izzzzz ny 1 havng the same problem
