to view facebook and youtube, must I pay my local mobile internet company to view these websites or is it free when i get the phone?(i'm kinda new to this stuff and i'd really appreciate it if you'd help me out).

The image quality of this mobile is awasome in day as well as in Night. I have comparee nokia 5800 (3.5 MP) and 5230 (2.0 MP) in night, the quality of the videos and images are far more clearer than 5800 even it has only 2 MP camera.

sunil, 19 Feb 2010we are not photographers to work with high pixel cam...2mp cam for that price is reasonable...... morei think if ur not satisfied with cam then we can choose another phone from nokia without touch facility.....that is nokia X3.....which costs around 9000rs....it is also best deal....

Anonymous, 22 Nov 2009i have 5800 now and i can't think to buy 5230 as it is really downgraded version of 5800 no wi... morewe are not photographers to work with high pixel cam...2mp cam for that price is reasonable....dont disappoint with cam, we have so many other features that we can rock with it...

Got Nokia 5230 from Malad(EAST) inclusive of VAT 8500 Rs as VAT is more in Mumbai my friend got it for 7900 Rs in Ahmedabad
Gone to many shops but was getting many boxes seal broken and one put transparent tape on it they were telling customer ko dikhana padtay i replied dont try to fool me nokia provides a dummy so be careful when you get it to cheap just check seal and take a VAT bill
But hands down the best phone in that range trust me if u dont want 3g and Gps u can go for Nokia 5233 cost 7300 Rs at citi centre goregaon (W)
Planning to go for 8 GB micro SD SDHC Kingston or Sandisk but dint find it anywhere can anybody tell me there prices and availability?

the internal gps doesn't work at all. I mean if I set the gps without the option >assisted GPS you can wait as much you want you see no positioning data even if you are in a open space with perfect view of satellits.

i have 5800 now and i can't think to buy 5230 as it is really downgraded version of 5800 no wifi 2mp camera the camera on 5800 also give bad performace then what to say about 2mp of 5230
i think it does not have led flash also
Also i have bought 5800 at 13500rs so 12000rs of this downgraded mobile is really not usefull so who are planning to buy this i will advice u to wait for at least 5 months after it's launch in india and u will find it's price is drop atleast to 8.5k so don't buy it now
