AnonD-183110, 24 Jan 2015samsung just make the chips, apple modifies them.Lol as if Apple can tweak hardware better than Samsung
Other companies would be stupid if they paid Qualcomm money for an outdated/flawed chip. So it is obvious for me they will also receive the updated edition.
Atul, 24 Jan 2015I have used both same devices of Exynos and Snapdragon and I would would vouch for the Snapdra... moreThat's exactly why they need to Axe the Qualcomm line. If all they had was exynos then they would *have to* optimize their socs better and make them perform what their on paper capabilities are/where.
Qualcomm soc on exynos devices only make things worse. Less variety in the market (no Ti omap, no Tegra, no Exynos of old), makes the manufacturing cost higher (and you know who pays for that and (lastly) it allows Samsung to be lazy about their own chip (partial sources, no proper optimization).
All in all, Qualcomm socs in Samsung devices is bad for the consumer...
Samsung does not create Ax for Apple. They just build it with their blueprints. What is best from Samsung is that they also develop their own stuff, like Exynos and some fast risc cpu, using licensed technologies and innovates from that point. That is the real genius from Samsung.
AnonD-355726, 24 Jan 2015Yes Apple is the best but Samsung make the CPU for Apple x_x samsung just make the chips, apple modifies them.
AnonD-185330, 24 Jan 2015You don't know anything about phones; I'm not going to argue wit u anymore.why argue?you did not come up with one argument till now.....just that apple is best
nemesh73, 24 Jan 2015you were not wrong, of course it doesen't overheat because Apple has got no features you can o... moreBenchmark does not cheat...
Iphone 6 plus has a benchmark of 1626..
How about those high octa core chips like note4? You can check it from gsmarena spec list.
Clearly apple have superior chip compared to any droids now.
AnonD-355726, 24 Jan 2015Yes Apple is the best but Samsung make the CPU for Apple x_x The A8 is manufactured on a 20 nm process by TSMC(Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) which replaced Samsung as the manufacturer of Apple's mobile device processors
It sounds like Samsung has the Exynos ready - so why not just use that and forget the 810? Is the 810 cheaper? Does Samsung not have enough production capacity?

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2015The iPhone got a really bad review here, but the Ax chips are miles ahead of the competition i... moreThat is because Qualcomm and Android rely om more number of cores and higher clock speeds to get required performance..
I'm waiting until next Friday when G Flex 2 comes out in south Korea before I judge if it sucks or not.
lacp, 24 Jan 2015Android, younger OS? It started to be developed some years before to IOS.Unless you work(or worked) for Apple no-one knows when iOS really started being developed, all we know for a fact is that Android is more than a year younger than iOS in the market.
Other manufacturers have completely denied of any overheating problems... Maybe its TouchWiz that's messing up the SoC..(^_^), just saying...!
And yeah Apple devices may be miles ahead of the competition but they ain't running Android, do they?
Anonymous, 24 Jan 2015I think it won't be only Samsung, but since Samsung is the biggest customer here, so they get ... moreActually, Samsung sells way more smartphones than Apple - have for some time now and will likely continue to do so.
