At last, in all the mobile phone brands, this smart phone just turned-out to be an Iphone killer. Nokia will really do anything just to be on TOP of all the brands hehehe. They even release their first Netbook... Amazing stuff right here! Super super professional. Nokia ROCKS (no offense to Iphone, Blackberry, or even to HTC). Nokia is the dominator..

way to go Nokia and glad they finally took a different direction this time even though the n97 is a good advice but just on a aging platform, but still offers a lot more then most other devices and my opinion. Definely buying this and wish they had the Samsung HD in a America version that will run off the 3g network instead of edge. Apple fans are a joke and so blind and onesided it's unreal. Don't pay Apple fans no attention, remember not to long ago they stated mms sucks as well as video on a phone and now they have it, they act as if it's the greatest thing. Apple fans are always slow to get everything and once they get it, they act as if it's the greatest thing

in reply to the iPhone 4G? lol... I thought the N900 was a bit big for the pocket... a 4" is ridiculous for a smart phone aimed at the cellular market.

Why is so many mentions of iphone 4g when AT&T don't even have 4g service yet and their 3g service is still having all sorts of problem now. The mms isn't even working on the current iphone 3gs at the moment and people are talking about iphone 4g, please give me a break. The current iphone 3gs is still having all sorts of problem and just seen on the yahoo news of reports of iphone and ipods exploading because of battery problems. I think before they come out with something new, they should try to fix what's wrong now. Congrats to nokia for going a different rout on the cellular devices and I think it's great for us consumers because the competition is good and the prices won't be to high that we can't afford it. Apple needs to make their stuff more compatible with other computers espically when you email a video shot from the iphone 3gs and trying view the video, it's a pain

Nokia has 45% market share. Apple with its iPhone has stormed to 14%. Apples days of its App Stores dominance will not last forever. Good job Nokia and hope it makes Apple keep inovating.

Second, high-end phones from Nokia or SE are not suitable for ordinary people, AND ordinary people choose to have iPhone and compare everything against it! that's the difference. The reason companies focus on selling iPhone to their customers is just because there are many of them, not because it's a better phone.

Then of course the people who believe N900 will rule. We're just going by specs people. It's not like we have the actual product.
Whenever we get a product from a phone company we get so attached to it that we're ready to blindly assume that said product is better than anything else on the market. Just bland, one-minded thinking. Why am I only seeing this in GSMArena and Engadget. Gives both forums a bad name..

I think people should get the iPhone 3GS instead, it's different from the Iphone 2G and 3G and alot better then other phones from 2007, the new iPhone has a compass.

This is a product, whether it fails or owns is a market dependent, if you like your phone that so much, why are you so concerned with this phone ?

1st i'm a se and samusung fan.as much as i hate nokia but i think this time they got a winner.the n900 has a new os which i think will be good and every other thing onboard,,,,we'll see if this phone is as good as it sounds

Ok, I wanna clear up some stuff. Just need some clarity here.
So many people think the N900 will fail, and so many think it will succeed. I don't know why on both sides people are ready to sacrifice their lives for this opinion, but I just need to know why phonefans: Why are you guys so ready to fight bare-knuckles over this opinion of N900 will fail/N900 will own (I used to be that way to over Samsung, but it wasn't getting me anywhere)? Just need to know is all. =]
