It's funny how other brand lovers are talking about the size of the N900. The N900 is 110.9 x 59.8 x 18 mm and the iPhone 3Gs is 115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3 mm and the Xperia is 110.5 x 52.6 x 17 mm .. Do see my point? It's shorter and narrower than the iPhone and obiously looks to have a more comfortable screensize then the Xperia. It's just 1 mm thicker then the Xperia and Iphone fans should be quiet, you all know i phone is not a small phone, it's carrying a freakin photoframe in your pocket. I used to have the N82 which is 112 x 50.2 x 17.3 mm and a very comfortable size, and the N900 is just 1 mm thicker and don't forget i packs world class beauty qwerty slide out.

The iphone and bl... moreWell, if you call selling 20 million Iphone worldwide since 2007 a marketdominating product, then you are you need to stop drinking whiskey right now. N-series has sold over 400 million wordwide since 2005.
Now i can see you are naive enough to buy all the iPhone propaganda about mega profits, which in fact is tha Apple includes the sales of their iPods, Macbooks and Apps in that financial reports instead of just only the iPhone which makes the report look a bit sweeter.
Nokia is not like SE and other brands who panic when some other brand releases something. Nokia has always does things their way and at the own pace and releases phones when they see fit.
Cause at the end of the day when it comes to global market share and fans in the handset business, Nokia knows that Apples iPhone is just a little afternoon fart in the Nokia universe and i bet you anything that Nokia couldn't care less, just like they haven't done for the past 2 years.
When all the iApples cued outside stores in the States to get this new toy, do you know what the press called the N95 8BG in reviews when it came out a few months after the iPhone? They called it "The Return Of The King" and "The Emperor is Back" and that is exactly what GSMarena wrote as well.
This is Emperor Nokia releasing a handheld super mini desktop in the handset business just as a teaser of what's to come at Nokia World in a couple of days, this is big boy stuff, so be a good little Emperors apple polisher and play with your little toy fruit.

I can't wait to get this. For those who thinks it's a tablet then yes in terms of functionality and powerhouse but no in terms of size. Any smartphone with a keyboard is quite thick. e.g. Touch Pro 1 & 2, Nokia N97, tytn II etc.

what makes iphone better than this feature wise? nothing. and please dont say OS because we dont know how maemo performs just yet.

how d... moreWell the N97 cannot even have multiple web pages open at the same time. It cannot even auto correct :) And what good are those specs if you have limited apps? :)
BT file transfer is mediocre compared to file sharing and emailing.

EVERYONE, look at this as great news, there is so much competition out there these days all the phone manufacturers are putting their best tochnology to the forefront. which in turn, benifits us. the end consumer. Great Stuff!!!!

I use Firefox as my browser, do I rant and rave at people because they are using Chrome or IE8!?!?!?! No, I'm happy with my browser, it works perfeclty for me.
Just my 2 pennies, but seriously it gets my blood boiling, cause what do the people really think when they write stuff like ""Nokia Sux, iphone RULES!!"" do you expect a nokia fan to go ""Oh really damnit, I didnt realize that!? Thank you for your help, I will go and buy an iPhone""
