Flames, 27 Aug 2009Exactly, you can never please haters, they will always find something to say....Exactly. I'm not even bothering with this article because these fanboys will find ANY and ALL ways to mock and denounce this product. If you know that the N900 is good, don't let anyone else challenge you on that. Let them have their own blunt-sided opinion.
Few good things:
Memory 1GB - Good for running applications in parallel.
Strongest Advantages : Dedicated hardware accleration for graphics. This makes a great diffenrece. Not only processor speed matters!
Good news : Expected arrival time is before end of next month!
But how good is Maemo? Any specific advantges from user perspective?
Nokia already has the experience with this os. BTW, what is the advantage of Maemo over Symbian Touch?

Ravi Kumar, 27 Aug 2009Brick Phone, with lovely features.Ravi,
Thats true. If you look at the features QWERTY Keyboard, 3.5 inch screen ,1350 mah battery, they cannot bring it with paper thickness.
Different models cater to different set of neeeds. Finally the choice is yours!

amoled screen is not good outdoor. if nokia use amoled, some SE user or iphone user will say that n900 sun eligelity is bad.
I like how the official video from the Nokia guys involves them playing a pirate copy of the movie Star Trek XI; it actually shows the screen.
Andrew Tan, 27 Aug 2009Agree! don't repeat N97 mistake and don't ever like SE which seems never learn from mistake.
... more
that because SE trying to use the opensourced SF^1, which just entering the stable release. Whereas Nokia use the S60v5 -pre-opensource.
And for SE Xperia1, SE was about to use the S60v3 with UIQ, just like they did with the P1, but then the Symbian Fondation decide to make their own touch screen support (S60v5 & SF^1), therefore SE have a wrong marketing strategy. Because if they continued using UIQ, they will be making a phone with a dead-end UI, and the person who bought P1 mostly geek or well informed of this situation. Therefore SE make a U-turn and make a windows mobile with Xperia1.
Now this IS a netbook. I think I just sprouted an erection! *BoING* ;)
damn...maemo rocks!
Anonymous, 27 Aug 2009"1. because Nokia always have the full support of it's OS

Motorola have been toyed with Linux from around year 2003/2004. This phone have a huge success in China. But unfortunately, Motorola didn't have so much insight about where they should bring their OS for the future. They just developing/fixing some app here and there. Whereas Nokia always consistent on their product OS development, and nokia Maemo will REVOLUTIONIZE the future of mobile computing.
Nokia really deserve the title of KING OF SMARTPHONE. And now nokia deserve the title of KING OF MOBILE COMPUTING
if theres anything lacking on this phone, its AMoLEd display
