TC, 29 Aug 2009HTC Touch Pro2 is better.I already have a pro2, but I think this one is already better than the HTC pro2. The interface and the speed are fast than the HTC one.
Probably we have to wait for the HTC with Tegra processor to compare. but this Nokis is better, we can say that Pro2 is better than N97, as I do not like the n97 at all.

it has Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, so ,it should be able o operate in portrait mode ...

I won... moreas Ive understood, I runs only in landscape mode (except for call mode)... but that might change over time... Nokia does not see this phone as a phone first but an internet device... and might be off with the intended user group, and when real statistics show up, they might relase software for portait mode.
Afterall, this is an evolution of their internet tablet, hence the name. But for many of us out there, this is the most interesting release from nokia in a very long time (since s60 5th edition proved to be such a downer).

No video/preview shows this thing operating in portrait mode (except for a phone call). I wonder if this means that the device's features, beyond phone calls, has to be accessed when in landscape and/or when the keyboard is open. I truely hope this isn't the case since the ONLY time I use landscape on my own phone is to use the hardware keyboad for a Long message and watch a movie, take a picture. That's it!! So I really hope that this phone is fully functional in portrait mode.

Neonode used optical tochscreen... didnt work that great... sensitivity to scratches should be high, as well... a scratch will likely be read as a constant touch, or if this will be ignored by software, it would limit the reach of the sensors, therefore might make area on the other side of the scratch impossible to use.
