More megapixels doesn't mean a better quality camera. Sensor size and quality is also as important. Pointless to increase mp using the same sensor, all it would do mainly is decrease the size of each pixel.

Xiaomi again, made the 2s version from an upgraded redmi 2, Just like the first generation of redmi.... At first, there was redmi 1 then they upgraded it into 1s.

So in future, dont buy Redmi 3, wait until the s version appear. just be patient for a while.

Earlier, I've been vocal about how the phone is problematic with 1 GB RAM in one way or the other, so 1.5 GB would've been great!

They've probably recieved some negative opinion around the web regarding the ram, and on the internal storage side, the Lenovo K3 Lemon, RedMi 2's rival had 16GB internal storage, so XiaoMi must've tought it would be a great idea for a minor bump.
