Huawei is a hardware manufacturer, they don't just put together others' parts. Xiaomi on the contrary doesn't have their own SoC (system on chip - the cpu/gpu combination) for example.

Of course Huwaei is far behind Samsung yet it makes sense for them to target a company of that kind.

Huawei is crap because of the HiSilicon chipset which does not have any developer support (custom roms). A device is useless if it dont have developer support, it is necessary because when a device gets old the official updates will be closed and the device will be useless. So get lost Huawei as u dont stand a chance against Xiaomi. (Note: This is my personel opinion if someone not agreed with me i am sorry but no sorry change ur thoughts).

unfortunnaly i never have a Xiaomi device, but to be 2nd in China is probably better than Huawei, i have 2 Huawei devices in my life, and one thing i can say: poor battery life, poor audio (very very low), i didnt like Samsung too, but for comparison, Samsung is better than Huawei sincerly. But Huawei and Samsung devices NO MORE! Im in love with my Doogee and my LG G2 Mini...and my next buy is Redmi so...i will be more happy!

Huawei become arrogant before they even reached considerable fame, Huawei is still not one of buyers choice when it come to phones, last week in the market i saw one of its phones charging noticeably more than Samsung galaxy S5 n it wasnt all that impressive, but they dont nearly have the same brand level as Samsung neither have as much community support, watch out for Lenovo it is well priced n gives good support even for its cheap phones, sorry but we dont need no other Samsung wannabe around anyways

Yu just likes to talk c**p. First he says Honor 3X has 720p screen because the battery life sucks with 1080p. Then only FOUR months later Huawei release Honor 3X PRO where the only difference is a 1080p screen! (and increased storage) with the same battery.

So now he's doing the same trick with Mi Note, I assume Huawei will launch Mate 7 PRO in a few months with the exact specs as the Mi Note then...

Huawei lacks the brand image compared to Xiaomi.
