I am a regular reader of this site but I don't generally comment. But I do read comments to know about other peoples oponions. And I see you, accusing (in every gsm arena articles related to india) 'All' Indians to be cheap and unloyal costumers. Yes there are some peoples that want smartphones in cheap, and I saw too that in every comment section. What I am trying to say is that you don't to generalize every Indian. Why the hate?
As for myself, got a nexus 5 and soon getting nexus 6 and that's without a contract.

Nexus is smoother from time to time but:
mi is faster
mi has better camera (much better)
mi has superior front cam
mi has better display
mi has much better battery
mi has the better build quality
mi has the more quality look and feel with its metal frame
me has the superior speakers..
so why shouldthe old nexus be better?

This is a 6 month old phone with no 64bit support.It lacks dual sim,LTE and now Xiaomi comes up with the 16GB variant?It is their 1st class ticket to China coz no one's gonna buy this old player @20k
