Good times, you'll find the comments in the N95, N96, N97 sections when Samsung was messing up Symbian with poor implementation and slow updates, back when they were copying Nokia's dual sliders.

Meladyx, 30 Jan 2015Tell me what that 64bit architecture is doing for you. Please enlighten me.240fps video, smashes any other processor in benchmarks especially the iPad Air 2 with the A8x running more efficiently at lower clock speeds, fast and smooth real time video, photo and sound editing, the fingerprint scanner that actually works, high end graphics in games, etc, etc, etc.

All phones evolve, and Samsung initially also only played in the 3-4" space. Yes, they released the note. Yes, it was successful, but overall the market trend has gradually been seeing an increase from 3, to 4 to 5" and above. And Phablets are still a bit of a niche market.

The "64 bit" chips Samsung uses are running in 32bit mode.

                    So, so far behind.

Um no,....apple sold more than 2 devices. The 4s,5,5c,5s,6,& 6+ all accounted for sales during Q4. Sure the 6 & 6+ accounted for the majority of sales during that Q. But let's not forget that the 5c & 5s accounted for almost 2/3 (plus whatever 4,4s,&5 accounted for) of iPhone sales for 2014. But yes, it is an impressive feat none the less for apple. And couple that with those enormous profit margins, you have a win, win.

As a N6 owner and a previous owner of a N5 & N4 as well, I would like to see google take a more apple approach with their nexus line. I understand they make their revenue from ads,but I would like to see them push to do the same with nexus devices. Build their own HW and optimize OS for them specifically. Push them as a google phone and push android OS to forefront. I mean, how many times do people ask is that a DROID phone? Or a galaxy whatever. I mean full in on phones ie custom cores, camera, etc.

I'm a fan of nexus devices and some other android phones (HTC one series, note series, moto x series, Sony z3), but I would like to see google take more control of the whole process. Let HTC have their version of Sense, Sense OS perhaps and brand it powered by google or google apps or something.

Just a one time bump in iPhone sales due to large screen increase that customers previously said they wouldn't buy until they saw the benefits on Android devices. Questionable if Apple can repeat with next 6S and 6S+.

Why dont you check all the versions that Samsung has released for the Note 4 alone?! Why dont you also go and check that Samsung has launched a 64bit Note 4 but only for the South Korean market.

So in other words because for the first time apple finally made large size devices and a phablet and somewhat for finally being HD years later they have had a good couple quarters.
                                        End of story.
