AnonD-357798, 29 Jan 2015Looks like Elop is at it again. Gotta say, though, CM is not a great custom ROM, in my opinio... moreIt was also buggy on my Galaxy S1 ! I don't like it and I don't like their company after the way they backstabbed another company. I hope Microsoft eats them alive and breaks that company for being liars.

What they should do is make a version of Windows that isn't dependent on Microsoft or at least Microsoft apps such as IE (Spartan), Skype, Cortana, etc.

Microsoft should focus on preparing when Intel has 10nm so it's efficient enough to run full Windows on phone with modern interface for phone mode and desktop mode when docked to transform phone into a hybrid/laptop equivalent. That will be when I switch from Android.

Seems Microsoft is trying to gain access thru the back door. EPIC FAIL Mr Gates.. You resoundingly said LINUX is a bunch of hackers going off in their seperate ways. You ( Mr Gates ) said LINUX will fail.
Open letter to the Cyanogenmod people. ANY more of a move on Microsoft's part will see Cyanogen Dissiminated and or Assimilated. I'm Old School and remember Microsoft's "Promises" and how Software companies have been first similarly funded. Then taken over and disappeared into the belly of the Beast, that is Microsoft. The same company that has problems 30 years later making a credible internet browser. Or a decent OS that easily multitasks in a way that invisibly fuctions. Whatever the future holds, bottom line:Watch out. Microsoft plays a very long game of chess. With bullying tactics ( the EU attests to this ) of UNPRECEDENTED scale... Naysayers be damned. Court documents from legal proceedings from here ( SCO vs Linux (& IBM) in the USA to the EU, shows these people ( Microsoft) do very few favors. The money they give has a serious "Bite" attached. Always.. Like Boxing Floyd Mayweather with your right arm tied behind you...

Looks like Elop is at it again. Gotta say, though, CM is not a great custom ROM, in my opinion; it was pretty buggy on my SG S4 to the point that I had to remove it.

AnonD-355175, 29 Jan 2015Android without Google would be pointless. As for Bing... Meh...Google search is the same as bing, it just has more users. Why does it have more users? Because people thought it was better. You see, search engines cant put every site in fheir database, websites have to register themselves.
