G3 had battery life which was behind the G2, now the G4 will have a battery life behind the G3 unless they are going with new POLED panels that have somehow increased efficiency.

We sensible consumers would rather buy a proper flagship that does not merely rely on a redundant resolution bump, but focuses on much more important stuff like: Outdoor visibility, accurate colour reproduction, amazing contrast, fast response, great brightness and very good power consumption. You're very much welcome to stay with your quite useless resolution race.

Well, okay probable It will not gonna have a 3K display!!!? (It will remain with 2K) But it's absolutely sure, that the G4 will be really an excellent flagship. I am really interested to see the sequence and who will be really the best flagship smartphone of 2015? Between the most promising 4. The Galaxy S6, the LG G4, Sony Xperia Z4, & HTC One (M9)

Oh that's what the gullible fandroids want. An overly high specs, even if unnecessary, for bragging. Forget the lags, faster battery drain, and overheating, as long as the phone has super high specs for bragging!
If the phone comes with 24 cores, 32GB RAM and with 4TB built in storage, sure these gullible fandroids will rejoice. Haha!

I don't see the benefit.
Reduces battery life for small increase in visual fidelity.
How about stick to 1080p and just increase all other aspects of screen quality.
