....and Huawei are right.
Its good to see a company have its own brain and not get carried away blindly by the market.
For me, at most 5 inches. And Full HD is enough.
If a set has a 4000 mah battery, for example Sony Xperia Z2, then let the extra capacity go in longer battery life, than useless pixels no one can't see.

QHD on smartphones, I'm totally cool with.
But 4K on smartphones is too much.

it doesn't only consume more power due to the CPU needing to process more. it also consumes more because you need more power to make the screen just as bright, because each pixel has its borders and since you uhave more pixels you have more of those borders so you need more powerful light to make it look just as bright because more light gets blocked. even if you make CPUs more powerful and efficient you will never be able to overcome the other problem.
pretty much the only reason manufacturers ramp up the PPI is marketing and to mature high ppi panel technology and production processes. They need the high ppi panels for VR devices because that's where you will really see a difference. The people who buy high ppi smartphones are making that future VR technology possible. but in smartphones the panels make little sense so it's kind of a dilemma.

You would have to be a bit silly to expect a good 4K experience on a smartphone screen.

6. processor perfomance like snapdragon 800 ( enough for normal people)
7. SD card support for 64 GB atleast
8. front side speakers ( single enough )
