How the F*** is this news? Apple pushes users into using the newest version of their OS (apart from the devices that get left behind) and most Apple users are too stupid to know how to block the new OS installing. Apple makes devices for dummies and those are the people that buy them.

I have waited for half a year for iOS 8 updates and finally fixed the bug on my iPad Mini 2. It is not as superior as I think it is.

I can't see how that figure is so high? I know a lot of people using devices that cannot upgrade to iOS8, that must dent the percentage globally, surely?

Definitely the progress is fast and amazing, but the IOS 8.1.2 update has consumed a huge amount of storage space on the phone and along with that it has many bugs and is not recommended to be updated by the 4s users it would drain out your battery and heats the phone like a pan.
If at all apple launches a newer version of IOS update which fixes the bugs and the heating problems and consumes less storage while we update the IOS version...
PS : I am not complaining about Apple or its IOS I love the products and the services, just wanted to raise a concern... :)

It's not bad, but the large size of the update caused a lot of people to not upgrade, as there is a whole generation of people used to using iPhone without iTunes.
Hopefully, 32GB becomes the new minimum, and updates are handled in an improved manner.
