I do not mind getting the updates a bit late, but definitely given that Sony is OEM and does a lot of customization, it has got a lot of testing to do and thus it is better to deliver a reliable update rather than a buggy one. :)

i can deal with tat late ! atleast make a stable rom ! not like 4.4.4 xperia z2 ! bring back 60FPS camera mode and battery life ! XLOUD and notification volume

I left Samsung because they dont even release updates at all for older devices(even with bugs). Im happy to have come to Sony even if updates are late :)

We are expecting for better quality Os release atleast now as we seen many drops and downs in kitkat update camera go blur low battery backup and some lags in overall performance bugs would be there but its too late and nexus have already got the update and Google is working on the latest lollipop v 5.02 with bug fixed hope Sony will release very latest v5.02 updates for all z series

actually Z should get LP in May-July.
But taking in the account that Lolypop is one of worst android similar to first kitkat(buggy, with weird ideas like sd card limitations, with worst battery times compared to eg 4.3 or 4.2 and with lags in weird places)
So people should get that: just because something is new, it doesnt mean its better.
