They are making fools of us. They moto g3 will also get new android version update starting with l. Then possible we should get 5.1.1 update. Try alternate method to get 5.1.1 search & sure u will get an alternate .

I am using moto g2 for the last 5 months. The buk is the only problem I am facing. The new version of 5.1 has been released for moto x. But not to moto g2 . so deliver the 5.1 updates the to moto g2 ASAP.

5.0.2 is frustrating. It is absolutely weak I must say. Features are awesome then of 4.4.4. But performance is worst. Moto X received 5.1 but there is no idea about moto G2 update.

Anonymous, 30 May 2015Updated to Android lollipop in moto g 2 . my system ha slowed down badly. Multiple other issue... moreIf you have updated your Moto G2 running KitKat out of box ,via O.T.A update then you can roll back to it by factory reset option in the settings.
If it came out of the box running lollipop then you can downgrade to Android 4.4 , or upgrade it to latest Android 5.1.1 using official cyanogenmod.
Search for "titan" ninghtlies rom in the download section of official cyanogenmod site. There cyanogenmod provides official rom for Moto g2. You will have more customisation options then the original Android, in Cyanogenmod. But if you are a pro, only then ,proceed to intall cyan

vicky, 04 Jun 2015wanna L 5.2 for my Moto g2Android 5.2 will be the upcoming Android M (according to current rumors) and it may not be available for Motorola Moto G 2nd gen.
Android M preview-2 is currently available for only Nexus 5,6,9 and Nexus player.
