Samsung produces bad design, doesn't follow Android guidelines made by Google, cheap feeling of design (They should learn from Apple/Nokia how to make a plastic phone), horrible update cycle and not to forget the bloat.
For me these few things are enough to avoid Samsung.

What Motorola doesn't get is that what runs a business is also services, Motorola has nothing else to rely on besides manufacturing smartphones. The only smartphone that sold were the MOTO G and MOTO E while the MOTO X and Nexus 6 were flops. Why? because they're now a cheap brand so no one would buy a 600$ Motorola phone. Also Motorola attracts the stingy part of the market, which means the ones that won't invest money in apps and services. So yes Samsung will loose grounds just not to Motorola.

Very good point , you don't need to pay more than $600 for top tier phones to get top experience. Look! apple has manufacturing cost for I phone 6 is $229 , Samsung galaxy s5 cost is just $255 . So why pay more money ? Chinese are correct. If Chinese phones are taken together already they have gone far ahead than American and Korean compsnies.

Because every samphone, except Note and S series is piece o... morehave you ever owned samsung....samsung grand series is also better i m owner of grand prime and its super phone compare to motorola G2 in 14500 range...motorola xiaomi phones are good in giving specs but there quality is cheap very less service centre and they sell their faulty phones online and fool people and nothing...in flipkart many people complains about faulty model they received...samsung has better quality just see grand prime in 14500 rs also i feel like im using S5...they have better services just wait for sometime samsung will be back....

motorola are worst they dont have any service centre i bought moto g and in just 5-6 months it was dead not in working condition i wasted my money in motorola....i heard good things from people about motorola so i bought and know i will bot buy motorola xiaomi any phones all our hard money is wasted its better to buy samsung although its lags then also its performance is good and quality wise also its good....

Rick is right, they are really doing the job very impressive way... I was using samsung for more than 5 year and still have one... But, from the day I purchased Moto x (1st gen), I think I am in love with the "M" symbol, its a superb phone... really gr8 phone :)

[deleted post]Sams market share is going down fast already, like HTC and Nokia back in past. SGS6 will be crucial for company's future. If it's fail, then drop will turn into dive. It has to be nice, with wow effect, with reliable platform and it has to be cheap, within $500. In other way it will fail like SGS5.
