Buying a 512 mb ram devices was a huge mistake. Never expect too much from such low ram devices. Sometimes developers ignores these low end devices, full of bugs, app crashing and unwanted restarting.

Kenny, 10 Feb 2015It will probably be a consolation once only update for 512MB devices with some features of W10... moreWp 7 couldn't get the win 8 update due to a different kernel, not because of lack of support. Wp 10 will make low end phones more appealing so i think it will be a good move

This is the exact reason why people stay away from Windows phones in the first place. People having Lumia 520 are the first ones who trusted MS/Nokia. Despite all the criticism of Windows Phone OS and Windows Phone App Store, some people picked it over Android and this is what they get now. It is not a problem if high end features like 4K recording are omitted for phones like 520. But if most of the features are neglected and bare OS is provided then I am sorry Microsoft, you will definitely lose a sizable fan following and prospective customers.

Please Microsoft I request you i am using Nokia lumia 520 and i like the updates which you give to my Lumia so please this time i expect that you will be successful in providing Windows phone 10 update to my Lumia with the official release and not the Insider programme one.

In my opinion "majority / most" means there will be no update for NOKIA Lumia 530 / 530 DualSim - the only reason for that is the fact that 530 has only got 4 GB of internal storage (sorry, I don't know how much is user usable). It's also a reason of WP's 8.1 Update 1 absence for HTC 8S - officially at least :-).
However "majority / most" can also mean that only phones with new firmware are going to get Windows 10 (Mobile) but personally I think it won't be a clever move by Microsoft. Why? - Because then Microsoft won't differ too much from Google for its clients and WP's market share will decrease to less than 1% globally (currently about 3%).

even a smartband should have a min 1GB RAM
phones with less than 1GB RAM should not even be produced in 2015

Aside from the cool User Interface on top of it, I wonder what the Windows 10 can do to improve Nokia Lumia 925 from its major issues such as freezing/hanging?

My old Nokia symbian only had 128 MB memory and yet it still had more apps & features than current Lumia/Microsoft phones.

It will probably be a consolation once only update for 512MB devices with some features of W10 but not the real deal just like WP7.8 for WP7 devices which couldn't upgrade to WP8. 512MB phones struggle to run many apps on WP8 so don't expect too much.
