Anonymous, 11 Feb 2015I just downloaded the update today and installed on the samsung galaxy s4 i9500, after boot up... moreTo remove the lags and crashes--switch off the phone j,st press the power switch,volume up and home button all together and itll take you to ODIN mode and there clear the "cache" and then reboot. the lags will be gone.

Got update on S4 deep black. Baseband version I9500DDUFNI1 but i am not downloading it bcoz there have been battery issues with the ones who have updated. Should i download it or wait for the fix to arrive and tgen install? Also my s4 kitkat takes 7.2 gb of memory for system. Is it okay? Also should we hard reset the phone before downloading and after installing the update? I did it on my moto g and it does not had any other problems that others had.

I have updated lollipop on 10 feb itself.
my feedback on over lollipop update on Exynos Galaxy S4 i9500 are
Pros :
1) UI is very nice and looks cool. I like the white background instead of black.
2) They provide child mode in this update
3) Notification bar and S Finder looks good and nice.
4) Advance Sound efforts for music player looks good.
Cons :
1) It eats more memory than Kitkat
2) Battery drained earlier than Kitkat for me.
3) Frequently hanged-up for few secs.
4) When i am hearing songs in music player some time its hanged-up for few secs and then became normal.
5) Feel little bit slow because of eating more memory.
overall UI looks good and cool. still has some issues on phone.Hope samsung will release a path / update to rectify the issues.

got this n updated too ,battery life is good so far also phone getting charged faster then kitkat the only issue i faced is that lollipop kills the internet app pages after every exit even i dnt do this also unable to install kids mode so far an awesome update.like it very much

Initially all apps were updating some data, so battery was draining fast. Now it seems to have stabilised. Lets see for a next few days.....
