I bought Samsung S4 from Dubai,am from chennai.
Until now i didn't get the update.
Will i get the latest update.

we have 2 categories only in India one is INU and other one is INS
Black edition model is I9500 only only differece is it got different set of wallpapers. No separate release happens from Samsung based on baseband version.
Black edition is getting ignored or not planned only Samsung can answer.

I tried to update using kies but it gives an error firmware uptdate failed. And when I try instaling throught tools>firmware update and initialization.It says ur device doesnt support initialization. Can anybody help me. Thanks in advance

I just downloaded the update today and installed on the samsung galaxy s4 i9500, after boot up there were some noticeable lags and when I went to settings to check the lollipop animation, it was too slow to bring up the animation. But overall it makes the S4 equal in looks like the S5. You gotta try it. Michael from Nigeria.

I updated my S4 today, I am from Chennai. However none of the air gestures, air view controls are working. May be a fix will come later or they have dropped these features altogether in Samsung version of the Lollipop UI.
There is a new look to the phone but could have been nice if the gestures are working.

Hi, I have a INS s4 and i'm trying to update to lollipop via kies 3 but there is a problem, the kies software downloads the firmware (1495 MB) and then it switches off the phone and then the phone displays downloading and then after a while, the pc says the device is not connected and have to restart the whole process.. pls help anyone

I have the black edition s4. The NA4 Version by when should i be expecting the update? At the moment kies and ota update says that the latest version is already installed.
