Got lollipop update for S4 Black Edition(FNA4)
Didnt lose the Black Edition Wallpapers, which is a good thing. But my baseband got changed to OA1 idk why. Does it make a difference?
No issues, nothing crashes, everything works fine.
Phone got overheated in the start but its fine now.
I hope they give us some other features like ultra power saving mode etc.
Overall a Good Update from Samsung. Love it

Rud, 21 Mar 2015Hi, I am continuously trying to update but it says latest software is already installed. Can a... moreYes it is available in India via OTA. File size is 1014.94MB. After updating the baseband changes from FNA4 to OA1.
Don't forget to do a factory reset after updating or else the phone is extremely slow.
My review after few hours of usage:
1. After the reset phone feels fine though RAM usage has increased in Lollipop (memory leak issue in 5.0.1) causing force closure of certain background apps while playing game !!!
2. Battery life has not increased but neither has it decreased.
3. The card style task manager is extremely laggy.
4. Samsung has provided the "Mute" option using volume keys which I guess is not present in stock android.
5. The new "white Touchwiz UI" looks different but I would have preferred a black theme atleast for the Deep black edition.
6. All the black edition wallpapers are retained.
7. Other than few minor lags (especially on lock-screen), the UI is very stable.

Task switching ? Many people reported that the RAM usage has gone high and the phone stutters during task switching. Also for the black edition have they changed the menus (settings,contact etc) to white like other s4 or have they kept it black? I kinda like the black background

1 more thing i noticed with this update, in my black edition even with 5.0.1 update i have the mute option available whereas i checked my colleague who updated his S4(not the black edition) last month thru kies didnt have this option.
So i believe the OTA update is a stable build.....
