512mb is half of 1GB
1GB is equal to 1024mb
4GB is 8 times the size of 512MB
512x8= 4096MB and that is equivalent to 4GB...
1GB=1024MB
1MB=1024KB
1KB=1024Bytes
So 4GB its not actualy means 512MB...

Even the Note 4 using an older (more bloated) TW version on Kitkat (slower runtime) and 32 instead of 64 bits, already beats the iPhone 6 Plus in a couple of cycles of loading games, apps and menus, despite having to push 70% more pixels.
Real world performance from the previous processor.
Battery stay last half day..

My Note 4 is really really smooth even compared to an iphone 6 plus my friend has
Ive been using it too often and never it got issues whatsoever
I dont really get where all this Touchwiz being Slow comes from??
Hasan45, 10 Feb 2015exynos is not an actual octa core cpu bro.. it consists of two quad core cpus and only one qua... moreNot Strictly true,
The ‘GTS’ (global Task Scheduling) aspect to the modern Exynos chips mean they can run all eight cores simultaneously, though as the vast majority of coding on Android is still single threaded the benefit of this ability is arguably negligible.
probably faked benchmarks as its not the first time Samsung have done this. Again when touch wiz is on it. They will soon lag.
MaxPayne123, 10 Feb 2015Is is not that simple. Just by increasing the core count the performance does not increase pro... moreAgreed,
Besides, impressive though this score is (if indeed true) we'll have to wait and see how well Samsung have done will their latest version of touchwiz in terms of software optimisation.
Lets not forget that in raw computational horsepower terms the Snapdragon 600/800/801/805 each have more than enough to satisfy modern requirements, but all Samsung devices based on these SOC's have exhibited issues with lag, this is mainly down to poor optimisation on Samsung’s part.
What good is an antutu score of 60,000+ if there is still lag present in the UI?, Apple have been running smooth versions of IOS for years on (what is at least in terms of core count, GHZ rates and RAM) more modest hardware, and this can be largely attributed to superior optimisation.
AnonD-5666, 10 Feb 2015Wait for 3 months, and you can get it for lot less. Samsung devices are always priced high ini... moreI second that. Same galaxy S5 which was launched at ₹52000($866) in India was dropped to ₹3200($533) in 6 months.
Benchmarks are for nerds, geeks and fanboys only.
IRL, OEMs dont market their phones based on benchmark results. Regular joes don't look at the results either. They just know its fast they will end up buying it. Benchmark results can easily be rigged and altered.
even if it gets 100K, that wont translate to REAL perforamce as the touchwiz is LAGGY 5 generations already!!!!

Guys don't bother about the final Antutu score, that's almost meaningless. Concentrate on individual sub-sets which will probably tell you how much integer. floating point operation and memory performance. Samsung LSI has done some improvement on memory front, most likely due to dual channel 1600MHz LPDDR4. Important thing is even 810 is using same memory channels, but getting lesser score in Geekbench.

Just by increasing the core count the performance does not increase proportionately. Apple A8X ( with "only" dual cyclone cores)is a testament of this fact.

I was expecting a lot of id*ot haters out here already. Also this RAM is highly fast LPDDR4 type.

If Apple can make phones work on 1GB, I am sure 2/3GB on Android is more than enough for anything (yes anything!)
Anonymous, 10 Feb 2015no 4gb ram no buyWait for note 5 - that will have 4gb ram
Results are not surprising... An octa core clocked at 2.1ghz lol. My nexus 5 tops out at around 43,000 on Antutu and that is quad 2.2ghz so obviously a phone with twice as many cores and clocked at a similar frequency will trash everything else.
