Shouldn't it be 2 teraflops? I mean k1 is already 1teraflops and I heard x1 is twice as good so...

lol they probably couldnt believe apple surpass them with air 2 gpu so decited to kill it with new x1 chipset already on march, we will see but if its going to perform as it says its going to be first device to offer x360 and ps3 level graphics cause so far k1 games underperforming and air 2 doesnt have any optimised game at all

As its built for gaming, I hope that they sacrificed thickness for better battery life and only went with 1080p, 2k is good but not really nesersary with mobile gaming, I mean 4k on desktops hasn't really kicked off yet, so I'm hoping for 2 versions, 8 inch 1080p about 10mm thick with a beafy battery and a 10.1 inch around 9mm thick with a beafy battery. And the x1 im assuming its going to be a quad core (near 3ghz) 64bit with 4gb ram.

THIS IS ALL MY OWN IDEAS. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER IDEAS BUT THIS IS WHAT I THINK IT WILL BE.

Or it just might be a great Android tablet, for a competitive price, esp with that pen the other one had, can't see a better one out there.

nvidia GPU may be good in Windows PC 3D gaming.
But when come to mobile CPU and GPU, they are nobody.

ihakh, 11 Feb 2015samsung wont use the nvidia chip coz it work hard on its own SOCNo, not at all, nVidia asks too much for their chipsets and another thing is that if you want to use nvidia chipset based soc you can't produce it self, nvidia will do for you. These are some of the reasons why very less companies builds nvidia based products.
And for mobile phones Tegra4 wasn't perfect, heat problems, battery problems...

It does not make sense now. But in few years this tablets will be able to play any desktop games at 1080p medium settings. (Volta based Tegra 2018. 640 cuda cores 4 denver cores and 4gb HBM)

Can't believe people getting so excited about a mobile gaming chip, its nonsensical, this is a joke, gaming for desktops and laptops, not tablets or phablets. You lot can play with these tablets with zero battery life and overheating, I shall stick to the best mobile chip maker that's Qualcomm, as they make all round chips.

There has to be more type of gaming. And please bring more accessories.

But then again, thats not nvidia's fault.. game makers find its better to create clash of clan clones and puzzle games.. that force people to buy gems.

THIS IS AWESOME ! but im maybe its not related to tablets or phones, maybe something about PC or something?! like a new GPU? i hope not :D

and to the guy who said he wants 10-12 inch and quantum dots etc

8" is a sweet spot for gaming, i hope they don't change it, 8" is gold ! if they make it more than 8" it will be just a gaming device, and not really a good general purpose tablet! but its likely to happen, because they already have the powerful k1 shield, so they could continue to make k1 shield and make this one too!

also 1080p is good for gaming, 2k requires more performance and battery and x1 already uses 10w at 100% :D
