Anonymous, 14 Sep 2009no hell is an imaginary place used as a political tool for centuries to keep the sheep in line... moreHell is unboxing a new Nokia then finding all these niggling little issues, then pretending everything is great because you are in with the other 500,000,000 sheep who bought Nokia's and they all say "It's the best".
So you make do as best you can because you don't want to go against the herd, so you go take your frustrations out on other phone users by continuously whining on forums.
That's what I call hell.
[deleted post]no hell is an imaginary place used as a political tool for centuries to keep the sheep in line- ignorance is indeed sad.

Or just make your own with the songs you already have

But try try try =D.

I have always edited my songs to make ringtones for 7 years so I can choose the part I like that starts at a loud point.
Who wants to hear only an introduction before a call goes to voicemail.

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2009How much does your phone network charge for a ringtone?
How much do companies like Jamster?... moreThe songs on my 5800 are my ringtones so i don't need to cut no damn song like apple does and i'm sure a few other phones can do that too
- iphone fail.......
Anonymous, 13 Sep 2009How much does your phone network charge for a ringtone? How much do companies like Jamster?... moreWoah. Well yeah it's not that Apple is now the bad guy because it offers you to pay for ringtones. But it's now becoming just like all the other greedy companies making you pay. It's really not right for ANY company to do that, so I can see that what he is saying is a bit of bias. However, maybe he should call "bias" for all the times people bluntsided Nokia, Samsung, LG, etc. in nearly every other article. Remember the N900 thread? I don't hate Apple, but I hate their snotty, half-witted fanboys. Goes the same for any other company 2.

How much do companies like Jamster?
How about OVI store, how much do they charge, seeing as you can't use the Comes with Music or Nokia music store songs as ring tones?
Samsung's new store, LG's, Motorola's, Blackberry's, WinMo's stores all charge for ringtones.
What's the big deal, selling ringtones is a common practice it's been going on for years, companies are making money from it otherwise they wouldn't still be doing it.
Apple actually sell them for less than most of the above.
I just make my own for my iPhone for free, I've got over two hundred assigned to different contacts.
Why the bias against Apple?
Anonymous, 13 Sep 2009it took nokia 2 years to add something to the n97 that the iphone has ?

Maybe you should check your brain it doesn't seem to be working.
There's even a news story about it coming soon on this very site.

"One of the most important changes is the iTunes app on the iPhone will have access to a Ringtone store (more than 30000 titles there already) available for 1.29 US dollars each. "...paying for a ringtone is totally ridiculous..apple sure knows how to milk money..
M I Z U C H I, 12 Sep 2009So why are you posting your drivel on a PHONE site?it took nokia 2 years to add something to the n97 that the iphone has ?
well funny thing is the n97 was released 5 months ago not 2 years ago. lol check your calendar date then talk
Anonymous, 13 Sep 2009Smartphone or not(in your opinion), you need to realize that this runs a proper operating syst... morethe iphone OS is OS based program, it's not a smartphone. everything on the iphone is an application. for example in google android and symbian you have widgets like-programs openly in the desktop that monitors your communications like social networking, emails, contacts etc on the other hand you need to access an app on the iphone to check your notifications
i can't buy iphone(legally) here in india. its too costly for us, more then having a n97 phone. i think microsoft must jump into this and make a decent phone with winmo. sure it will better than all current phones in market. we need cheaper phone with better quality and not a pricy phone with missing features. we also dont use internet on phone everyday. its cost us too. ordinary indian dont buy a high-end phone. he just dream to have it. but cant afford. he buy china phones, cheaper with same features and look. unless big companies try to make a decent phone for ordinary peoples. i like iphone, xperia x2, n97, omnia hd, htc pro 2 but cant buy. but have it look-a-like in china phones. its not bad either. even has more and better features than original phone. like can listen radio without headphone. that feature you dont find in any high-end phones. even in iphone and all phones that have mention above. so think big companies and make some decent phones for us.
